The town of Lintong Nihuta sits on the southern shore of Lake Toba in Sumatra and is home to the hundreds of small farms that produce this coffee. These farms grow Ateng, Djember, and Garundang variety of plants. The coffee seeds are processed in the characteristic Indonesia Wet-hulling method.
